Monday sees the second of our new Monday skills demo days between 10am and 4.00pm. This week Angela from AyVee Jewellery Design will be in residence showing jewellery making techniques, with special emphasis on seed bead spiral rope patterns, as requested by one of her customers.
This is a drop-in, drop out session so please call in to see Angela at work at your leisure. She will be able to answer any questions you might have about jewellery making.
Thursday is our well established skills demo day. In residence again this week will be Mrs Charlie from Charlie Cards, our papercrafter/cardmaker,
and alongside her will be Sheila from Sewing MANIA, an extremely knowledgeable lady who can tell you all you ever wanted to know about patchwork and quilting.
Again no appointment is necessary as these are drop-in and drop-out sessions.
Saturday is our usual weekly market day in The Venue, and we will be there between 9.30am and 5.00pm. Because we have about 30 crafters in our group but only space for seven tables, our crafters take turns to have a stall each week.

Monday saw the very first of our new Monday skills demo days and Roger from Far Horizons was there all day making picture mounts.
He enjoyed his day so much that he will be back to repeat the experience on 13 July.
Sheila and Mrs Charlie had another good day on Thursday too.

We saw a lot of new faces, as well as familiar ones, at our market again on Saturday, which is all good.
Free Crochet class for absolute beginners
Kim from Vimbo Crafts will be holding her next free crochet class aimed at absolute beginners on Friday 3 July. However you need to book your place for this class in advance as numbers are limited in order to ensure that Kim can give every participant one to one tuition. Please contact Kim direct on 07904023816 in order to book a place - but hurry as places fill up fast!
